Hands around the candle

We sit down in front of a lighted candle. We choose any candle. In this case, the fire itself is important. The candle is located at eye level at a distance of one and a half to two meters.

We reduce our eyes to the bridge of our nose and relax. We look at the candle. After a while, tears will come. Blink, wipe away the tears and continue. We are not trying too hard.

Practice carefully. 

If it goes very well, then still not more than once a day. Give the body and eyes a rest. Do not place the candle at a close distance from the eyes. Don't try to get rid of everything once. Don't try, but relax and exhale, exhale, exhale...

Without training, try to make your eyes look at fire without proper preparation, which on average takes from six months to a year, and then a greater number of years, this is deliberately burning your retina. Be patient and consistent.

Breathing deeply. Everything is slower and quieter. We look at the candle. We are not trying to stop the internal dialogue. On the contrary: we carefully monitor what we remember. We allow ourselves to recall the compromises, people and situations that caused the most pain. We scroll through all the negative thoughts. We recall difficult emotional states. What sequence the memories go in is not important.

Technique of execution

Memory "as if"exhale into a candle first through the center of the forehead, then from the middle of the chest, then from the abdomen. Memories (visually or mentally) will be poured out with sand or poured out with water. It's not important. It is important that each episode be worked out in three circles: the center of the forehead, the center of the chest, the abdomen (navel or a point about four fingers below the navel. This is the point of the lower Dian Tian in Qigong).

The situation may not fade, but on the contrary acquire new details. It can pull out other memories, "as if" they seemed insignificant and unimportant. We also breathe calmly and exhale in circles. Do as many laps as you see fit.

So we work from about 10-15 minutes to half an hour. If some situation has not dimmed, then we no longer strain our eyes, but calmly exhale the rest. Next time, you will start practicing with this situation.

You can supplement the practice with special breathing: deep inhalation through the nose, exhalation through the mouth. The inhalation should be equal to the exit. But at the beginning of the practice, it can be difficult to keep your eyes open, monitor your breathing, and make circles.

Paradoxically, this practice also requires practice. Therefore, we are learning. We are working and we are happy.

You can put a notebook next to it and mark "amazing" moments that have not been remembered for a long time or have never been remembered. It happens that at a certain stage of practice, you remember moments that did not exist in this life, also mark them in a notebook. Or dictate to yourself on a dictaphone. Next time, start working with them.
