Toothbrush practice

This is one of my favorite practices over the years.
It's very simple: we combine what we do every day with what we need to achieve. We brush our teeth every day. We need to achieve mindfulness, in translation, to make the brain our friend. To do this, you need to learn how to switch thoughts. Of course, you can write a phrase familiar to many, "disable internal dialogue," but this is already the result of a set of practices. Remember, it's not necessary to turn off the internal dialogue, but learning how to switch thoughts is very important. Of course, you can continue to chatter uncontrollably in your mindset and on. But! Wasting your life's time on the debauchery of a superficial mind is not effective.
Therefore, when you brush your teeth, you are giving an order to your brain not to think. This is how you act every day in the morning and in the evening. Fine motor skills are very conducive to concentration on movement, so it will be easier for you to turn off the jumble of images and interpretations in your mind. And practice will give results, but it will take time. This time is individual for each person. The main thing is to remember that practice has the effect of accumulation. Don't rub your teeth all the time. They just did and forgot. They did and forgot. Quantity will turn into quality.

Let people say and do what they want, but you have to learn how to do what you want. And you want, strangely enough, to be in a state where your emotions are pleasant. Only you can do it yourself. Because your emotions follow your thoughts.
