Drawing out feelings
For this practice, it is not important whether you can draw. This is not a credit in an art school, but a job with the brain.
Before practicing, determine your condition. Evaluate it objectively. Ask the question: "What do I feel right now?". And don't come up with abstractions. More clarity. I feel fear, pain, hatred, dependence, affection. You can, of course, say that you feel love for some person, but if it hurts you now from his actions or words, then this is specifically your addiction. And this dependence has formed in the brain.
There are clusters of nerve cells in the brain that determine attachments. These information structures are very strong.
So the attachment center has identified someone as a sexual partner. And you have linked your expectations with a person, although the brain has not informed you that this is your destiny! He does not manipulate such concepts. The brain simply evaluated this person as an object, and your thinking has already connected anticipation of the future with him. And it doesn't matter if you had sex with this object or not. It's just that he's having a hormonal reaction. But this is not love. With love, you personally feel good, regardless of the attitude of others towards you. And the person you are stuck with reflects you in something or is an image previously sealed in the brain. And you have created an idol out of him, even if you revile him now with the very last words.
In this practice, you can also work with any painful situation. Difficult relationships with parents, children, coworkers, and business partners are well suited.
So, you have identified the issue that needs to be resolved. By the way! You may not even know exactly what's bothering you, because it's something that can't come to the surface in any way, i.e. manifest itself and become obvious. And the state of invisible danger does not leave. As you understand, your brain sends you signals that you are not paying attention to any really important questions for you. You may have focused on something explicit that is happening in social life in the areas of relationships, money, and health, but how do you understand the current unfortunate events"These are only the consequences of the causes preserved in you. Let the stagnant energy manifest.
Technique of execution
If you don't have paints and brushes right now, take pencils. Black, gray and brown are great for squeezing pain out of the body and brain.
Put a thick piece of paper in front of you and start drawing lines with both hands at the same time. Think about the feeling that is bothering you, about the person or event. Imagine the pain situation in all its details, remembering the smallest details. It is good to draw schematically in advance the person who caused you suffering. And then rigidly sketch it completely, putting a feeling into this action. Say it out loud "I hate (the name) for what he/she is...". Talk, talk, talk. Hate. Hate. Hate... At some point, you'll just start screaming "Aaaaaah."..". Shout!!!
Remember — and move your hands faster and more intensively. Let your hands move erratically. Don't stop yourself — let the pencils tear the paper!
There may be a state when one hand gets tired or gets in the way. Then give her some rest for a while and concentrate on the other hand. Work up to the pain.
You can start crying. You may start coughing. You will physically feel something happening in your body. And this is an objective reaction of the body. You are simultaneously using two hemispheres of the brain in which information is located, plus biologically prescribed programs/needs in the main (reptilian) area of the brain. If you don't go into details, then the right hemisphere is the facts of life (left hand), the left is the images that you have built and that cause pain (right hand). Now I'm only talking about neuroscience, and not about the concepts of conscious and unconscious. Facts don't hurt. It's just information. And your interpretation of the information leads to suffering.
The center of the unconscious in the brain is the hypothalamus. And it is to its structures that we break through drawing with both hands at the same time.
Naturally, you will get a black mess. And it's great. If you still have the strength, repeat on another sheet, thinking about the pain again.
Practice drawing every day during a period of suffering or sluggish depression. Do it in silence. It's not necessary for music to switch the brain.
After work, tear up what you have drawn. And burn the pain "by a piece" over the flame of a candle or throw it into the fire if there is a fireplace in the house.
